Obituary for Jacky Harold Cody Jr.
Jacky Harold Cody Jr., 57, of Peoria Heights, IL passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at his residence.

He was born May 4, 1965, in East Peoria, IL to Jacky Harold and Veronica Sophia Palladini Cody Sr. His grandson, Matthew H. Cody Jr.; parents; brother, Jeffrey Cody and nephew, Justin Wright preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Ryan Cox of TX, Matthew Cody of Pekin, IL, Jay (Amanda) Cody of Pekin, IL, Chase Cody of Washington, IL, Sadie Cody of WA, adopted son, Jakob Cody of AZ; grandchildren, Kadin Cody, Kovy Cody, Zander Cody and one on the way; fiancé, Kristina Bohannan of Peoria Heights, IL; stepchildren, Dylan Bohannan, Jordan Bohannan; step-granddaughter, Delaynee Bohannan; dog, Luna; siblings, Jay (Malchi) Cody, Ruth (Donnie) Drowns, Ralph Cody, Derek (Angie) Cody, Stella Cody; half-brother, David; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Kendrid, Sabrina, Jeremy, Kyle, Chelsea, Sara, Jeff, Chantelle, Brett, Dalton, Damion, Dyesten, Dillion, Ryan, Jorden, Tyler, Hunter, Den, James and many other family members that he loved and cherished.

Jack served in the U.S. Army. He was a lineman for CILCO and owned his own tree business.

He grew up in East Peoria, IL. Jack loved telling the story of how he was born in the barn on the family farm.

Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In honor of Jack please donate to St. Jude’s in Peoria or Don Yarbough to help fix wheelchairs for the Vets.
