Obituary for Jack Dale Wyzlic
Jack D. Wyzlic, 82, of Germantown Hills passed away at 8:15 pm on Sunday, April 4, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 25, 1933 in Peoria, son of Walter and Mildred Wyzlic. He married Julia E. Yates, July 3, 1955. She preceded him in death on June 12, 1983.  Then he married Penny Roe, of Pekin, on June 15, 1984. She preceded him in death March 31, 2015. Surviving are his three children, Sally (Ron) Seib of Waconia, Minnesota; Trevor (Nikki) Roe of East Peoria; Temple Huette also of East Peoria; and a brother, Jerry (Dona) Wyzlic of Victorville, California.  One daughter, Susan Grubb, preceded him in death. He had 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He served in the peace time Army as a Military Policeman from 1956-1958. Jack was a union carpenter for 45 years spending the majority of that time employed through P & W Builders. He constructed well over 500 homes in the central Illinois area. He served as a charter member of the Polish Coast Watcher Chapter of IPMS/USA. His great joys in life included his children, grandchildren, building plastic models, and traveling to model conventions with his brotherhood of fellow Polish Coast Watchers. Cremation rites have been accorded. Per Jack’s request, no visitation or funeral will be held.   Burial will be in Augusta, Illinois at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to the Peoria Rescue Ministries of Peoria, Illinois.
