Obituary for Jack Clarke
Jack Clarke 78, of Macomb passed away on Tuesday December 22, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Astoria on May 30, 1931 to Hershel and Velma Jones Clarke. He is survived by his wife Betty (McDaniel) Clarke of Macomb, children: Michael (Susie) Clarke of AZ, Doreen (Ken) Peterson of Ft. Pierce, FL, Debbie Clarke of LA, step-sons; John J. Stevenson of Sadila, MO, Randall (Crystal) Stevenson of Versailes, MO and his 10 grand and 7 great grandchildren. His parents and brother Dyke Clarke preceded him in death. Jack served in the Navy during the Korean War, worked at Western University as the head of the refrigeration, heating and cooling department and was a self employed Heating and Cooling Technician retiring in 2000. He also was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, V.F.W. and the American Legion. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to his family. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements
