Obituary for Irma Tucker
Irma Harriett Tucker of Princeville was born on July 31, 1932 to Charles Ross and Naomi Effie
Wilkinson Martin in Stark. She died at 1:45 a.m. on December 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Irma married Rudolph "Bill" David Tucker on August 24, 1956 in Peoria, Illinois. He died on June 9, 1975.

Irma is survived by 2 sisters, Willie Stahl of Toulon and Virginia Schneider of Princeville along
with 6 children, Carol Diefendorf of Farmington; Debbie (Donald) Gaught of Peoria; Lori Maskil of Wisconsin; Randy (Liz) Tucker of Mendota; Richard Tucker of Chillicothe; Sheri Tucker of Princeville and a grandson, Drew Tucker, whom resided with her. She has 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents and brothers Leo and Duane Martin.

Irma worked in the restaurant business most of her life, lastly operating the Princeville
Recreation Center in June 1975.

Irma enjoyed being at home watching the squirrels and birds out her front window or sitting on
her porch getting a suntan. She also was a big Elvis Presley fan and was proud to say she
attended his last live performance in June of 1977 along with visiting his home in Memphis several times. She also liked Michael Jackson, along with travelling to Las Vegas for family
trips. She was a volunteer at the Illinois Valley Fuller Center for Housing.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, January 8, 2018, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Brandywine Crossing Clubhouse, 4010 N Brandywine, Peoria, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Illinois Valley Fuller Center for Housing, 1716
N. University, Peoria, IL 61604.
