Obituary for Irene Mulcahy
Irene Dorothy Mulcahy 81, of Peoria passed away on Sunday December 27, 2009 at Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria. Born in Chicago on November 14, 1927 to Peter and Edith Walton Bernard. She married James Francis Mulcahy in Chicago on January 29, 1949, he survives. Also surviving are her children: Judy (Jim Barker) Mueller of Topeka, Paul (Debra) Mulcahy of Lake of the Hills, IL, Patrick (Amber) Mulcahy of Kings Mountain, NC, Peter (Deborah) Mulcahy of Chugiak, AK, Jayne (Dan) Lourash of Peoria, brother Ralph (Carole) Bernard of Northlake, IL and her 17 grand and 16 great grandchildren. Her parents, 3 sisters and 1 great grandchild preceded her in death. Irene was a Co-Manager of a Self-Storage facility, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed winters in Panama City Beach, FL and pasted time crocheting. Â A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Saturday January 2
