Obituary for Hermine Braden
Hermine Braden, 83, of East Peoria passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born February 19, 1936 in Schierling, Germany to Josef and Marie Brandl Eder. Her parents and brothers, Fred Eder and Sepp Eder preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Tina L. (Mike) McClelland; grandchildren, Joseph McClelland, Curtis McClelland, Dustin McClelland; great-grandchildren, Heather McClelland, Ben McClelland; sisters, Emilie Rosenburg, Marianne Rötzer, Lilly Grundner and many nieces and nephews in the United States and Germany. Hermine enjoyed being with people and was a loyal friend. She had many friends here and in California where she worked as a department head for FEDCO for 20 years. She was a good and loyal person never speaking ill of anyone. Her childhood and young adulthood were hard, traumatic at times, but she became a strong and independent woman who had a happy life. She was a supportive and loving mother and grandmother. She loved the beach but most of all she loved her family; she will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 240 Belaire Court, East Peoria, IL 61611 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please come and share stories and memories of a wonderful person and help us celebrate her life.
