Obituary for Helen Marie Payne
Helen Marie Payne, 84 of Green Valley formerly of Yellville, AR passed away on March 12, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 10, 1924 in Canton to Louis and Frances Post Josta. Helen married Sherman Payne on September 24, 1944 in Idaho, he preceded her in death on February 1, 2008. She is also preceded in death by her parents and sister Mildred Starcevich. She is survived by her children; David L. (Jo) Payne of Green Valley, Marsha King of Springfield, Michael (Susan) Payne of Canton and her 5 grand and 5 great grandchildren. Helen was a Legal Secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1978 and was a member of the Professional Women’s Business Club. Private services will be held. Memorials may be made in her name to T.A.P.S. 100 Taps Ln. Pekin, IL 61554.
