Obituary for Helen Haynes
Helen Marie Haynes, 88, of West Peoria passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria. She was born March 31, 1930 in Springfield to LeRoy and Harriet Zachary Arvin. She married Forest Trees; he preceded her in death in 1989. She later married Thomas Haynes; he preceded her in death in 1994. Her parents and brother, Richard Arvin also preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Pamela Metcalf, Randy Trees; grandchildren, Clint Metcalf, Kristin Metcalf, Eric Trees, Nicholas (Mandi) Trees, Chris (Kathy) Trees and eleven great-grandchildren. Helen loved her church, her Lutheran faith and the river. She also loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held at this time.
