Obituary for Harvey W. McClary
Harvey W. McClary 64, of Pekin passed away on Tuesday April 29, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. Born in Ramsey, IL on Aug 8, 1943 to Bill and Evelyn Guthrie McClary. He married Mary Ann Bon in Pekin on July 24, 1965, she survives along with sons; Joel (Valerie) of Morton, John of Pekin, daughter Julie Ann McClary of Pekin, brother Tom (Bev) McClary of Morton, sisters Edna Butler and Ruth (Don) Durbin both of Pekin and his 4 grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Harvey worked for Caterpillar, retiring in 1998. A funeral service will be held on Monday May 5, at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Abts Mortuary. Rev. Roger Davis will officiate and burial will be in Spring Lake Missionary Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his family. On-line condolences may be made at abtsmortuary.com
