Obituary for Harold "Rick" Johnston
Harold Rick Johnston, 67, of West Peoria passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. He was born September 7, 1949 in Peoria to Harold and Darlene Miller Johnston. He married Sharon J. Level January 2, 1992 in Peoria; she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Stacy (Tim) Davis; grandchildren, Chase, Brent, Dustin, Ashley Davis and Trey Johnston; great-grandchild, Donavin Symmonds; step-children, Mark Flagher, Jeffrey Flagher, Tracie (Russ) Turnbow and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Harold R. Johnston II; step-daughter, Connie Flagher; parents and sister, Patsy Clark. Rick was an Operating Engineer for Local 649; retiring in 2002. He loved fishing, deer hunting, the cabin and his dear pets, Sir Winston and Sarah. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
