Harold “Butch” Harper Sr., 45, of Peoria passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born March 1, 1975 in Peoria to Jack Leo and Linda Sue Barthell Harper. His parents and brother, Kenneth Harper preceded him in death.
He married Cindy K. Hale June 30, 1998; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Harold B. (Demetria) Harper Jr., Billy J. Harper; grandchildren, Currencii, Nova, Denver; siblings, Amanda (Andy) Roe, Jack Lee Harper, Jennifer McConnell and he was uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Butch loved spending time with his family, grandkids and friends. He loved music, beer and the Grateful Dead. He loved being a dad to many of the neighborhood kids.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
