Obituary for Haley F. Stoner Jr.
Haley F. Stoner Jr., 76, of Liverpool passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born December 15, 1944, in Oklahoma City, OK to Haley F. and Margaret Smith Stoner Sr. His parents and granddaughter, Michelle “Tinkerbell” preceded him in death.
He married Norma J. Scherer March 13, 1971, in Chillicothe; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Cindy (David) Reginald, Dawn Lott, Vicki (Larry) Deffenbaugh, James (Mary) McMahan; grandchildren, Cody (Tabitha), Ashley, Nick, Katie, Zamion, Sebastian, Natasha, Holly, Kristen, Robert, Elizabeth, Clayton, Cory; nineteen great-grandchildren and siblings, Paul Stoner and Gail Perez.
Haley served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and worked for Caterpillar retiring in 2004. He loved his family and spending time with his great grandkids. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tracking. He loved birds, flowers, and the outdoors. He was a life member of Canton VFW Post 1984.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
