Obituary for Gwendolyn M. Heuck
Gwendolyn M. Heuck, 50, of Pekin passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on March 18, 1975, in Litchfield to Lindell and Debra Dalpozzo Knop. Her father preceded her in death.
Gwen married Chris Salgado on February 22, 2024, he survives. She is also survived by her mother; daughter, Lauren Heuck; granddaughter, Arriah King and sister, Heather Knop.
She worked as a surgical tech, she loved her job and more specifically general surgeries, eyes.
Gwen loved her family. She was never seen as a soft person unless she was around her granddaughter, she loved her more than words could even express. Gwen was strong-willed, loud, expressive & the most amazing mother, wife, friend and gigi people could have had in their lives.
She absolutely loved Halloween, Freddy Kruger, bats and Baby Yoda. Gwen enjoyed car rides, driving, crafts and Coca-Cola.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
