Gregory A. Leeper, 66, of Roanoke passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on June 12, 1959, in Peoria to Gerald and Grace Calhoun Leeper. His parents; sister, Constance Toney and brother, Marshal Leeper preceded him in death.
Gregory married Rachel R. Fitzgerald on February 20, 2004, in Pekin; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Gregory A. Leeper Jr., Heather (Adam) McKeever, Kristina (James) Leeper, Samantha (Scott) Worms, Thomas Fitzgerald, Amy Gifford, Will Jones, Shelby Phillips; nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Debra (Mike) Jones and brother, Gerald (Rita) Leeper.
He loved his family very much and was an old-fashioned husband and gentleman. Gregory enjoyed hunting, fishing and learning new things. He loved his job driving his truck.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
