Obituary for Geoffrey Denham
Geoffrey W. Denham, 73, of Pekin passed away Tuesday October 15, 2013 at Pekin Hospital. He was born March 1, 1940 in Baldwin Long Island, NY to Edwin and Enid Witmer Denham. He married Melinda “Mindy” Gerdes December 29, 1974 in Pekin. She survives along with his daughter, Sharon Denham of Colorado; sons, Stephen (Victoria) Denham of Idaho, Scott Denham of Pekin; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Denham of West Virginia; sister, Paula Denham of California; half sisters, Elsa Daugherty of Colorado, Alison Denham of Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews and three beloved dogs, Holly, Harvey and Buddy Boo. She was preceded in death by his parents. Geoffrey served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for Caterpillar retiring in 1991. Geoffrey and Mindy did craft shows all over the country from 1986 to 2003. He was an avid Cubs and Bears Fan. Cremation has been accorded and per his wishes no services will be held. Memorials may be made to TAPS in his name.
