Obituary for Geneva Braden
Geneva L. Braden, 85, of Peoria passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at University Rehab at Northmoor in Peoria.
She was born November 8, 1934 in Mercer County, IL to David “Lawrence” and Rosetta Whitesell Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Edna Evans; brother, David Wagner; sister-in-law, Carol Wagner and son-in-law, Butch Davis.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence “Larry” (Tina) Braden; daughter, Sheri Davis; grandchildren, Jason (Tricia) Braden, Joan (Tyler) Birkey, Jami (Adam) Clementz, Etta Rose Davis, Sara Davis, Tony Davis; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her previous husband, George D. Braden.
Geneva enjoyed playing the piano, art, crafting and repurposing things especially clothes. She was kind, sweet and a loving person. She will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held at a later date.
