Gary L. Williamson, 79, of Washington passed away, Sunday, May 29, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born November 4, 1942, in Peoria to Lawrence and Irene Kesler Williamson. His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Renee (Michael) Marshall, Stephanie Huette; grandchildren, Tom Marshall, Ashton Marshall, Dailan Marshall, Krysta Huette, Kayla Marshall, Nikki Akerfelds, Jacob Williamson; great-grandchildren, Winston Marshall, Tommy Marshall, Ally Akerfelds, and brother, Jack Williamson.
Gary served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service he worked for Caterpillar for 31 years.
He was a great provider and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed tinkering around the house listening to music. He will be missed by anyone who knew him.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held per his wishes.
