Fred D. Brown of Peoria, IL died on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.
Fred was born on May 13, 1946, in Peoria, IL. Preceding him in death was his father, Clifford; his mother, Clarina; three brothers and on sister: Ronald, Donald, Clifford and Marilyn. Surviving is his partner of fifty-two years, Martin Hackett, his sister, Carolyn and his brother, Bruce.
Fred served in Viet Nam in the U.S. Army as a member of the 101 Airborne Screaming Eagles. After serving his country, he spent much of his life as a management trainer for the City and County of San Francisco and Pacific Gas & Electric. During his retirement, he dedicated his time to caring for his dogs, gardening, and being with his partner, family and friends.
