He was born June 30, 1942 in Table Rock, MO.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Beyer.
He is survived by his children, Kevin (Billie) Dircks, Betty Dircks, Frank (Leighanne) Dircks Jr., Kenny Dircks, Shannon (Butch) Sukraw, Carrie (Russell) Wright; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Franklin served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as a carpenter retiring in 2020. He enjoyed eating out, fishing, camping, hunting and anything outdoors. He loved playing poker but most of all he loved his family and friends.
Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice in his name.
