Obituary for Frances Smith
Frances K. Smith, 92, of Peoria, IL passed away Saturday May 26, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born February 15, 1920 in Burlington, IA to Bernard and Gertrude Roesch Hayes. She married Leo C. Smith in 1941 and he preceded her in death along with her parents and son-in-law Robert Rehm. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Rehm of Naperville, IL, Patricia (John) Mushinsky of Peoria, IL; six grandchildren; Ellen (Scott) Rimkus of Naperville, IL, Kathleen (Timothy) Neary of Naperville, IL, Patrick (Nancy) Rehm of Naperville, IL, Molly Mushinsky of Peoria, IL, Michael (Jennifer) Mushinsky of Peoria, IL, Thomas Mushinsky of Ponchatoula, LA and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Donald Hayes and sisters, Jean Hayes and Carolyn Brower. Frances was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Peoria, IL for many years, where a memorial mass will be held on Thursday May 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the church. Memorials may be made in her name to Easter Seals of Peoria, IL.
