Frances J. McCormick 95, of Peoria passed away on Tuesday June 24, 2008 at Rosewood Health Care in Peoria. Born in Peoria on December 1, 1912 to Fredrick and Susan Stieglitz Graf. She married R. Gene McCormick in Peoria on February 5, 1938; he preceded her in death July 22, 1988 along with her 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her children Judith (Dale) Lowry of Philadelphia, PA, James (Diane) McCormick of Peoria and her 7 grand and 10 great grandchildren. Frances graduated from Methodist School of Nursing in 1933 and worked as a Registered Nurse at Methodist Hospital. She was a member of First Federated Church in Peoria. Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held. Memorials may be made to her church or a charity of your choice.
