Obituary for Ernest Carroll
Ernest C. Carroll, 64, of Peoria Heights passed away Friday, January 2, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born August 15, 1955 in Peoria to Lillie Mae Carroll. His mother; brother, LaVaugh Carroll and sister, Louise Carroll preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Renetta (Larry) Billups, Carmichael Bennett; many grandchildren; siblings, Arminger Carroll, Lawrence Carroll, Peter Carroll, Mamie Henderson, Delores Henderson, Trenia (LeRoy) Mackey, Leatrice Henderson; many nieces and nephews and devoted friend, Ron Henderson. Ernest worked in construction until retiring in 2014. He enjoyed fishing and playing games. He loved being around his loved ones and never knew a stranger. He loved his family and he will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 12 Noon at Lovejoy Church of God in Christ 1500 S. Easton Ave., Peoria, IL 61605.
