Obituary for Eleanor Baker
Eleanor “Ellie” Baker, 72, of Peoria died on Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Peoria. Born July 11, 1940 to Roy and Elise Phillips of Farmington, IL. She married Earl Baker Jr. of Peoria on May 7, 1986, he survives. One son Fred Beam; four grandchildren and her great-grandchildren also survive. One daughter, Suzie Werden; her parents and two sisters preceded her in death. Ellie was a loving wife and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping, camping and watching love stories. She will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at Abts Mortuary in Pekin, IL on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date at Oakridge Cemetery in Farmington, IL. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
