Obituary for Eileen Kay Willock
Eileen Kay Willock, 79, of Morton passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at her residence.
She was born September 16, 1942, in Peoria to Chester and Frances Roman Riggenbach. Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Todd (Stacey) Willock, Tammy Svendsen, Janene Willock, Susie Willock; grandchildren, Brittany Lynch, Travis (Melody) Willock, Brandon Svendsen, Brooke Svendsen; eight great-grandchildren and sister, Suzzane Burch.
Eileen worked as a physical therapist for Morton Terrace retiring in 2006.
She loved her family very much and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking and the holidays. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in Morton.
Just meeting Eileen guaranteed that you were a friend for life. She was the rock of her family. The matriarch who inspired and encouraged everyone to come together and love. She helped her friends and family through their toughest of times, and would always forgive without judgement. She kept her sense of humor even when her health declined. When she was bed-bound, she would ask visitors, "Are you comfortable" or "Did you eat today?" She was notorious for her hilarious texts and Facebook posts. Always putting a period after each word. So in the same style as she used to type,
"We. Love. You. Eileen. We miss. You. Terribly. Rest. In. Peace... Until. We. Meet. again."
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at csmico.com
