Obituary for Edward Berry Jr.
Edward Miles “Bud” Berry Jr., 77, of Peoria passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born May 23, 1939 in Peoria to Edward M. and Esther F. Murry Berry Sr. He married Georgene E. Pelini September 24, 1959; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Kevin Scovil, Edward (Kim) Berry III, Barbara (Brian) Berry-Hexamer, Scott Berry, Chad Berry; grandchildren, Jason Tull, Dewayne Dismang, Ashley Hexamer-Murray, Kristina Berry, Monica Berry-Lush, Bryce Decker, Edward Berry IV; several great-grandchildren and his beloved pets, Lucky, Tommie and Georgie. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and his daughter, Laura Jean Berry-Tull. Bud served in the U.S. Navy and owned and operated Berry & Sons Construction. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, riding his lawnmower, fishing, and shopping with the love of his life Genie. He followed the Chicago Cubs. A private celebration of Bud’s life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Edward “Bud” Berry Jr. to any Veteran’s organization of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation has been accorded.
