Obituary for Edward Allen Parker Jr.
Edward A. Parker Jr. “Preacher”, 72, of Peoria passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria.
He was born September 26, 1951, in Peoria to Edward Allen and Della F. Turner Parker Sr. His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Edward A. Hartman, Ed Allen Parker, Felicia (Jeff) Ciaccio; three grandchildren and siblings, Carol A. (Terry) Blanch, Patricia G. (David) Gouge and John (Susan) Payton.
Edward served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
He loved his family, all animals, NASCAR, and wrestling. He also loved art, he painted, etched, and carved. He enjoyed riding his Harley and was a founding member of the Untamed Brothers. Edward was an ordained minister.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
