Obituary for Duane Joseph Johnson
Duane Joseph Johnson, 72, of Havana, IL passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
He was born March 25, 1950, in Streator, IL to Floyd and Theresa Salz Johnson. His parents and brother-in-law, Donald Hultgren preceded him in death.
He married Elizabeth Ann Hodges April 26, 1980, in Peoria, IL; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Nicholas J. (Abra) Johnson of Morton, IL, Jennifer L. (Patrick Blaufuss) Johnson of Sheboygan, WI; grandson, Hunter Johnson; siblings, Sharyl Hultgren of Eureka, IL, Shirley Johnson of Delta, Co, Lori (Doug) Phalen of Ohio, IL; four nieces; two nephews; his dog, Emmy and his four granddogs.
Duane served in the U.S. Army and worked for Caterpillar for 35 years.
He loved to hunt and fish. He was a past member of Monacoeur Bassmasters and Glasford Bass.
Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
