Douglas L. Butler, 72, of Chillicothe passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at his residence.
He was born February 28, 1949, in Peoria to Warren and Ester Kelly Butler. His parents; son, Dustin Butler and sister, Deborah Butler preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Dylan Butler; stepdaughter, Tera (Eric) Davis; stepson, Harley (Jessica) Davis; grandchildren, Jaycie Butler, Aubry Butler, Emma Niedziela-Butler, Star Davis, Kaydence Davis; devoted friend, Terry Davis and family and brother, Dean Shehorn.
Douglas served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the City of Chillicothe Public Works.
He loved art, gardening, baking, camping, and riding his motorcycle. He had a wonderful love for life.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
