Obituary for Dorothy Mae Bland
Dorothy Mae Bland, 92, of Washington passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Washington Senior Living.
She was born on September 20, 1932, in Cincinnati, OH to Charles and Marie Baker Smith. Her parents; son, Earl Bland Jr.; brother, Ron Updike and sisters, Janet Eckart and Shirley Underwood preceded her in death.
Dorothy is survived by her son, David W. Bland; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Osborn, Nick (Sarah) Bland; great-grandchildren, Maddux Bland, Grayson Bland, Emersyn Bland and many nieces and nephews.
She worked as an LPN until retiring in 1995.
Dorothy loved her family. She also loved crossword puzzles and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. She enjoyed watching movies.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
