Obituary for Doris Marie Emanuelson
Doris Marie Emanuelson, 83, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at her residence.
She was born March 25, 1940, in Brockton, MA to Fred and Dorothy Burke Anderson Sr.
She married David Emanuelson; he preceded her in death in April 2019. Her son, Steven Mullen; her parents; and brother, Fred Anderson Jr. also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Tina (Mike) Mueller, Joe (Penny) Conlon, one other son; sister, Ruth Waters; grandchildren, Jason (Laura) Kidd, Krystle (Chris) Kloess, Rebecca (Rickey) Albrecht, Shawna (Brad) Clutter, Patience Gordon; great-grandchildren, Mykenzie Kloess, Jenna Kidd, Ryan Albrecht, Kylie Kloess, Aubree Albrecht, Brayden Clutter, Bree Clutter, Ashleigh Clutter, Kristy Clutter, Sammy Horton and extended family, 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 nieces; 2 nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews and 23 great-great nieces and nephews.
Doris lived in Florida for 30 years and was a member of McCalls Baptist Church in Florida. She loved her grandkids and her pets. She was the founder of the Scleroderma Support Group in Brockton, MA.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Avanti’s in East Peoria with dinner following.
Memorials may be made to TAPS or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
