Obituary for Doris Jean Bailey
Doris Jean Bailey, 69, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Carle Health Methodist.
She was born July 11, 1954, in Athens, AL to Grady Lee and Almarie Peek Moss. Her parents and sisters, Linda Kamm and Deb Royston preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Kenny (Justine) Breeding-Rogers, Nicholas (Melanie) Rogers; grandchildren, Emily, Eric, Evan, Ethan, Alex, Paige, Parker, Phebe, and many great-grandchildren.
Doris worked for Versa Press, retiring in 2002.
She loved her family and grandkids. She was an avid Cardinal’s fan and loved playing dice, dominos, and cards.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
