Donna Lou Rae (Alexander) McGregor, 75, of Eureka Illinois, died on November 12, 2024, at the Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Eureka, IL.
Born in Peoria Illinois on December 19, 1948, to Jim Alexander and Dolores (Alexander) Henry, she married Bobbie McGregor on November 19, 1967, in Benton, KY.
Surviving are her sons Steve McGregor of Eureka and Daniel (Tammy) McGregor of Dunlap. Also a brother Steve Alexander of Chagrin Falls Ohio, a sister LouWanda Stevenson of Eureka Illinois and a brother-in-law Merle Lawson of Danvers. She had a special place in her heart for her niece and nephews: Tom, Jamie, Naomi, Donnie, Shane, Ryan and Anthony.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and twin sister Devra Lawson (Merle).
For many years Donna served as a bus driver, assisting seniors in getting to and from appointments and other places. She enjoyed going to church, serving the Lord, and watching Gaither Homecoming shows.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 5:00p-6:30p at Crossroads Global Methodist Church, 1420 N Main St in Washington. A private burial will take place at Olio Township Cemetery at a later date.
