Obituary for Diana Headley
Diana Dotzert Headley, 60, of Peoria entered into eternal comfort and peace on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria surrounded by the love of family and friend. Diane was born April 1, 1958 to William D. and Sarah J. Miller Dotzert. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Charles “Joe” Headley. Also surviving are one step-son, Charles J. Headley Jr., of Rutland, IL; one sister, Deborah (Bill) Sharpe of Peoria, IL; two brothers, Dennis (Pat) Dotzert of Dover, TN and Douglas (Linda) Dotzert of Orlando, FL. Diane is also survived by nieces; nephews; BFF, Rae Lynn Yates and furry friend forever, Stormy. Her parents and step-son, Joshua Headley preceded her in death. Diane was a very generous, compassionate and loving person that will be greatly missed. In light of her love for animals, memorials can be made to PAWS, ASPCA, or any organization for the prevention of cruelty to animals in her name. Per her wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
