Obituary for Delbert Thomas
Delbert Thomas, 73, of Morton passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Born to Raymond and Viola Thomas in Mason County. He lived in Easton, IL growing up. He was the 3rd of 4 sons; John, Ralph, and Carl. He is survived by his wife Debbie of Morton; son, Sean (Kara) of Asheville, NC; daughter, Sarah of Peoria; brother, Carl of Mason City, Todd of Nebraska; grandchildren, Aiden, Isaac, and Kadence Thomas and James and Dalton Baker and many nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends. Del worked as a barber after graduating high school and barber college. He then worked for TWA in Chicago and Ozark Airlines in Peoria. He retired in 2010 from the Unemployment Office in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Spring Lake Missionary Church 6779 Townline Road, Manito, IL with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a celebration of life following immediately after.
