Obituary for Debra Rose Rinne
Debra Rose Rinne, 67, of Peoria, IL passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria, IL.
Deb was born February 27, 1957, in Lasalle-Peru, IL to Walter and Nancy Seghi Reichen.
She grew up in Henry, IL.
She was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and Methodist Medical Center of IL, School of Medical Technology in 1979.
She married Ed Rinne in 1993 and they had one son, Christopher in 1995.
She retired from Methodist Hospital in 2022 after 43 years. She really loved her career and the people she worked with.
Deb was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria, IL for over 40 years. In her retirement she enjoyed lots of reading and relaxing, volunteering at Midwest Food Bank, being a member of the Mary & Martha Society, hiking, biking, pickle ball, and spending time with her family. Her favorite things to do were baking desserts and vacationing.
She will always be remembered as a sweet, kind, and loving person who always put others needs before her own. She truly cherished her life-long friendships with her college and high school girlfriends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nancy Reichen, brother-in-law, Rob Tonarelli, sister-in-law, Diane King, niece, Katie King and parents-in-law, Lester and Dorothy Rinne.
She is survived by her husband; son; sister, Denise Tonarelli of Minooka, IL; nephew, Brandon (Meredith) Tonarelli of Glen Ellyn, IL and nephew, William King of West Peoria, IL.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be at 10 a.m. with Mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria, IL.
Donations to Holy Family Catholic Church, Peoria, IL and Midwest Food Bank, Peoria, IL in her name would be greatly appreciated.
