Obituary for Debra Deyo
Debra K. Deyo, 66, of Peoria passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born September 2, 1951 in Peoria to Kenneth and Carole Bennett Bornsheuer. Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, J. Paul (Brandy Kidd) Deyo; daughter, Lauren Deyo; grandchildren, Harrison Deyo, Sophia Kidd; previous spouse, Jon B. Deyo; sister, Julie Farquharson; brother, Mike (Cindy) Bornsheuer and many nieces and nephews. Debra taught for the Chillicothe School District until retiring in 1999. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a sports enthusiast and avid Cubs Fan. She loved animals and was the most kind, giving and selfless person anyone could ever meet. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the VFW in Bartonville. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or TAPS in her name.
