Obituary for Deborah Ver Lee Tribbett-Mercer

Deborah Ver Lee Tribbett-Mercer, 70, of Pekin, IL passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL.


She was born on June 18, 1955, in Peoria, IL to Arnold E. and Donice V. (Stoneking) Tribbett. Her parents preceded her in death.


She is survived by her children, Autumn (Lisa Potter) Landi Vittori of Chillicothe, IL, David (Kathy Glover) Landi Vittori Jr of Corpus Christi, Texas, Tracy Mercer of Peoria, IL, Evelyn Rhodes of St. Petersburg, Florida; 10 grandchildren, three of which she adopted (Adrieanna Mercer, Alexus Mercer, and Abigail Mercer); Four great-grandchildren, and siblings: Gregory (Colletta Heath) Tribbett, Charles Tribbett, Jack (Linda McDonald) Tribbett and Donneta (Shawn) Van Etten.


Deborah was retired from Paradice Casino. She also served as the Vice President of the UAW Senior Citizens Club. Deborah loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing BINGO, Poker, and watching Dateline News. She enjoyed antiquing and going out to eat with her loved ones.


Cremation has been accorded. Celebration of Life will be held at the UAW Senior Citizens Center in Pekin, IL on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.


The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at csmico.com.
