Deborah Karen (Wilkinson) Elliott, 53, of Peoria, Illinois passed away Friday night, March 16, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 16, 1958, on Bainbridge Island, Washington to Herta (Preuss) Wilkinson (Solis) and Wayne Keith Wilkinson. She lived in Germany as a young girl and again as a young woman. She graduated from Waynesville High School in Waynesville, Missouri, in 1976. Deborah married Roger L. Elliott on December 16, 1980 in Padborg, Denmark. She is survived by her husband; her three children, Sarah, Kathryn, and Zachary (Michelle) Elliott; her four grandchildren and her aunt, Carol Clark of Washington State. She is also survived by her mother Herta Solis; two sisters, Sandra (Jeff) Wallace and Brenda Wilkinson, all of St. Roberts, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her father Wayne, of Tacoma, Washington; two uncles, Jerry and Ted Wilkinson of Seattle, Washington; step-father, Larry Solis, of St. Roberts, Missouri; paternal grandparents, George and Edith Wilkinson of Seattle, Washington and maternal grandparents, Albert and Hedwig Preuss of Engelheim, Germany. She was a Master Gardener, loved her plants and her dogs, Jack and Grace. She especially loved being "Oma" to her grandchildren, Isaiah Keith Clermont, Hannah Eve and Noah Alexander Kimberlin and Olivia Parker Elliott. She'll be missed by everyone that knew and loved her but will always be in our hearts. Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
