Obituary for Deanna (Dee) Hieronymus
Deanna “Dee” L Hieronymus, 61 of Creve Coeur, passed away at 2:47 on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 in East Peoria. Deanna was born on Aug. 16, 1953 in Peoria to Herbert & Rose (Fox) Sparkman. Surviving are her parents of Creve Coeur; 2 sisters Debra Osmundson of Creve Coeur and Delinda Rentsch of Pekin; her daughter Andrea Hieronymus of Creve Coeur; a son Tom Hieronymus of East Peoria; and their father Guy Hieronymus of East Peoria; and 2 grandchildren Anissa and Autumn Hieronymus of Creve Coeur. Deanna was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and one sister Denise Grant who passed away on Oct 7, 2014. Deanna graduated from East Peoria Community High School in 1971. She worked at WICC as a machine operator for 23 years, last working in 2008. She then began helping sister Delinda care for their parents. Deanna loved spending time with family and doing for others, listening to music, especially the Beatles, taking pictures, and sitting in the sun. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her. There will be no visitation or services.
