Dawn “Libby” Elizabeth Schunk, 53, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born May 9, 1967 in Peoria to Lonnie and Donna Gragg Schunk. Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brother, Jay; sister-in-law, Stephanie and nephews, Joe, James and Henry.
Libby worked at UnityPoint Health Methodist as a Lab Technician. She started her career at Methodist to pay forward the care her mother received while admitted there.
Cremation has been accorded and due to COVID Tier 3 mitigations there will be no services at this time. The family plans to have a service in the spring around her birthdate.
