David Paul Guzman, 53, of Pontiac passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on March 24, 1972, in Chicago to Jose and Peggy Damron Guzman. His mother; son, David Guzman and daughters, Autumn Kokoszka and Crystal Guzman preceded him in death.
David married Linda M. Wisniewski on September 19, 2011, in Kankakee; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Karon Kokoszka, Megan (Daniel) Palczynski, Jazlyne Wisniewski, Ariana Guzman, Miguel Guzman; grandchildren, Antonio Martinez, Izik Kokoszka, Landyn Kokoszka, Adeline Sullivan, Braelynn Sullivan, Daniel Palczynski, Aullora Guzman; siblings, Jose Guzman, Debbie, Sherry Runnels, Angie Guzman and his puppies, Luna and Charlie.
He worked as a detailer.
David loved his family. He also loved the outdoors, pickles, tacos, burritos, his tools and working on cars. David enjoyed making people happy. He had a beautiful personality and a magnificent smile.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
