Obituary for David Laux
David E. Laux, 67, of East Peoria, IL passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1945 to Frederick and Anna Hoehne Laux in Peoria, IL. He married Sandra Zilch June 17, 1967 in Peoria, IL. She survives along with his daughter, Nicole (Shannon Biro) Laux of East Peoria, IL; Kristin Biro of East Peoria, IL; grandchildren, David Rediger of East Peoria, IL, Peyton Biro of East Peoria, IL, Paxton Biro of East Peoria, IL; brothers, Michael Laux of Turlock, CA, Paul Laux of Peoria, IL; nieces and nephews, Melissa Laux, Darren Laux, Richard Laux, Tonya Laux; great-nephew, Nicholas Laux and his beloved dogs, Skippy, Kelsey and Izzy. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Christina and daughter, Michelle. David worked as a Design Engineer for Infotech Enterprises America Inc, in Peoria, IL. He was a loving husband, Father and friend who will be dearly missed. He used to say he loved his family more than bacon. His grandson wrote “My grandfather, a Herculean figure among most men. It will be really different without him.” In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Illinois Cancer Care in Peoria or TAPS in his name. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial mass will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, IL.
