Obituary for David John Prater
David John Prater, 73, of Lewistown passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1943 in Maywood, IL to John and Opal McDermith Prater. He married Janet Rohlfs; she survives. He is also survived by his sons, John (Alena) Prater, Jim Prater; grandsons, Kody Prater, Jakob Prater, Jackson Prater, Kolton Prater; sister, Judy (Jim) Grove and brother, Steve (Barb) Prater. His parents preceded him in death. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial shoot will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Smithfield Gun Club in his name.
