Obituary for Darlene C. Rains
Darlene C. Rains, 85, of Washington passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at her residence.
She was born July 26, 1937, in Wabash, IN to Kenneth S. Cain and Iva Brown. Her parents; daughter, Mary Alice; grandson, Andrew; sister, Norma Jean and brother, Kenneth M. Cain preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Georgia (Larry) Kee, Janice Mitchell, Susan (David) Jennings, Marla Kay Rains; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Darlene worked as a dry-cleaning presser, retiring July 26, 1999.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Leisure Acres 200 Carlson Ave., building 28 Clubhouse, Washington, IL 61571.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Whip in Washington in her name would be appreciated.
