Obituary for Darla R. White
Darla R. White, 75, of Peoria passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born May 14, 1948, in Peoria to Raymond and Darlene Williams Gunther. Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Stacey (Kimberly) White, Troy Lotz, Joy Thierer; grandchildren, Carol, Hannah, Dylan, Jordan, Breanna, Quincy, Warner; great-grandchild, Aurora; sisters, Diana Beale, Debbie Hale, Dena Durrand and brother, Roger Gunther.
Darla worked in home healthcare, retiring in 1995.
She loved her family. She enjoyed coffee, reading, and smoking a cigarette. She loved watching game shows, birds, QVC, relaxing in her recliner and talking on the phone with her friends.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
