Daniel Lee Buchanan II, age 34 of Pekin, Illinois passed away at his residence on October 21, 2025.
Daniel was born August 01, 1991, in Peoria, Illinois to Daniel Buchanan of Marion, Kentucky and Lora Vance of Pekin, Illinois.
Daniel was known for his kind heart and loyalty. He loved his dog, Harley. He loved his family and friends and was always willing to offer a helping hand. Daniel loved his car and motorcycle. He was an automotive enthusiast, really anything with a motor and enjoyed spending time in his garage. He worked as a garage door technician and was employed with Greg's Garage Door Service of Pekin Illinois from 2006 to 2020. He was recently employed at Crawford and Brinkman Garage Door Company of Peoria, Illinois.
He is survived by his Dad, Mom, nephew, Dawson Hallihan and niece, Braylyn Bennett both of Pekin, Illinois; his half-brother, Rian Wanless and half-sister, Samantha Wanless both of Janesville, Wisconsin and his half-brother, James Schillinger.
Daniel was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Vance and his uncle, Kirk Vance.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
