Obituary for Dale Raymond Leonard
Dale Raymond Leonard 91, of Glasford passed away on Saturday June 6, 2009 at Bel-wood Nursing Home. Born in Peoria on October 31, 1917 to Eldon Ray and Emma Clauson Leonard. He married Wilma Lindley in Piggot, AR in 1949. She survives along with his son Roger Leonard of Glasford and his several grandchildren and great grandchildren. His parents, daughter Barbara Scott, brothers; Dean and Llyod and sister Irene McLaister preceded him in death. Dale served in the Air Force and worked at Keystone, retiring in 1962. He was a member of the American Legion in Glasford and the Glasford Baptist Church. Cremation has been accorded and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
