Obituary for Dale Myers
Dale F. Myers, 84, of Peoria passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Generations of Peoria. He was born January 30, 1935 in Oquawka to Robert and Virgie Nelson Myers. He married Peggy Gilmore; she preceded him in death in 2009. His parents; daughter, Carla Bennett; three brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy (Mike Noren) Broyles; grandchildren, Katie (Jeremy Lakebrink) Broyles, Brittany (Brad) Behrends; brother, Tiny (Eleanore) Myers; brother-in-law, Jim (Diane) Gillmore and many nieces and nephews. Dale worked for Caterpillar retiring in 1992. He loved fishing and could build and fix anything. Most of all he loved his family and grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
