Cora Ann Hatala, 87, of Morton passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Aperion Care Morton Villa.
She was born June 15, 1934, in Morton to William J. and Elna Pfieffer Bryan. Her parents; husband, Robert Hatala; sons, William Bryan-Fuller, Robert Hatala III; great-grandson, Tyson; sisters, Betty Boone, Imogen Wheeler, Cletus Sampson, Dorothy Drake and brother, Charles Pugh preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Fuller (Michael) Donnelly of Morton, IL, Lela Fuller (Brian) Frost of Davenport, FL, Lori (Larry) Wiegel of Charleston, SC, Julie Hatala Chavez of Charleston, IL; sons, Gary (Debbie) Fuller of Cookeville, TN, Jackie Bowers of Gays, IL; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Cora worked for Coco School District retiring in 1992. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a social butterfly and worked hard helping others. She loved her neighbors. Cora loved to do crafts, sew, and read. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, “Pepe”.
Due to COVID some family members can not travel. A family get together will be planned for a later date.
