Obituary for Connie S. Dowds
Connie S. Dowds, 61, of Delavan passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born February 28, 1963, in Peoria to Charles Richard and Edith Patsy Addison Gillett. Her parents preceded her in death.
She married William K. Dowds on October 19, 1991; he survives. She is also survived by her children, William Austen (Dez) Dowds, Chance (Angela) Dowds; grandchildren, Trinity Dowds, William Konnor Dowds, Juniper Dowds and siblings, Linda Sholl, Virginia (Gene) Bowers and David (Traci) Gillett.
Connie loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, hanging out with her girls as well as pottery.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Illinois Cancer Care Foundation in Peoria in her name.
